We Need Your Help
It takes money to get Clyde's message out.
John Mica has a huge war chest and wealthy corporate contributors.
They think that Florida belongs to them and that you do too.
Taking America back requires sacrifice and commitment on your part.

Mica: Bottom of the “Porker” Barrel
Because of his fondness for earmarks, Congressman John Mica was named “Porker of the Month” by Citizens Against Government Waste.
Earmarks are pork-barrel appropriations for local or state projects that are attached to federal legislation, usually without congressional debate.
Politicians like Mica feel that elected officials should be able to make such discreet funding decisions on their own, rather than appropriating tax dollars – our tax dollars – according to objective criteria.
Rep. Mica says, “There's no way in hell I would support banning earmarks... That’s our job, getting elected and making decisions.”
Wrong.
Clyde Malloy believes the people have the right to expect their money to be spent accountably. Earmarks bypass hearings and a floor vote and the only reason an elected representative would want an earmark is if the spending is unjustified.
“Earmarking is an indefensible practice that must be eliminated,” Malloy said.
“John Mica wants the power to spend the people’s money without input from the voters.
“He represents his campaign contributors, not the hard-working citizens who sent him to Congress. This is not the way I will serve the people of the 7th District.” |

Mica Puts Property Over People in Mortgage Crisis
Millions of Americans live in fear of losing their homes, but Congressman John Mica doesn’t seem to care.
Here’s what he said about the much-needed housing bill that would rescue 400,000 struggling homeowners: “It provides billions of dollars to local governments to buy foreclosed properties and turn them into low-income housing. I’m not sure people will want to wake up and find that in their neighborhood.”
Sad but typical.
Mica is quick to show where his sympathies lie: with his campaign contributors, not with the American homeowners who suffer in a crisis caused by deregulated financial markets and predatory business practices.
The people of Florida can no longer afford John Mica. The people of Florida deserve solutions to issues such as the mortgage crisis so we can prevent such problems in the future.
Mica is an enemy of these reforms, and he must be sent packing. |

Don't allow John Mica to overlook you, your family or friends on mortgage problems.
Don't allow John Mica to continue giving earmarks to pork-barrel appropriations. |
